I have been seeing patients since 2019, having trained in college counseling centers and community mental health before moving into private practice. I studied Psychology and Theology at Loyola University Maryland before earning my PhD in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, where my research focused on the overlap between mental health and the social rules of masculinity. This work was inspired by my own experiences and mentors that helped me find my way into the mental health field, and remains a part of who I am as a therapist and a writer. My clinical background is in working with adolescents and young adults, during chapters of life full of both stress and growth. I am particularly experienced working with people who are going through family challenges, grappling with their identity (e.g., faith and sexuality, coming out, what it means to be a man, racial trauma, social class), processing the effects of trauma, striving to be healthy in relationships, and also love meeting those who are brand new to therapy and curious if it could be helpful.

I am an Irish and Italian-American, and the Boston area has been home for me since starting graduate school. I also teach occasionally and enjoy supporting the development of new clinicians. Outside of work, I unwind by cooking, playing guitar, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends and family. I am an avid soccer fan, an armchair student of political history, a regular sauna user, and happiest anywhere with a dog.
